The
Story
Of Light, Shadow, and Love tells the story of Lightsider, a doctor at the UFL Hospital,
in Megatokyo. After being captured by a rival faction, the Church of Miho, he
has been exhausted and been suffering from terrible nightmares. The reason
for these nightmares is the beautiful and mysterious Mage-Knight of the
Church, Shadowdancer Duskstar. Dr. Lightsider feels strangely drawn to this
woman, and, at the same time, is repelled by her.
Adding to his confusion is his blossoming relationship with Tohru Mizuno, a
nurse also at the Hospital. Lightsider feels himself falling for her, but one
obstacle stands in the way: Lightsider is a cursed man, and, without a pair
of very special glasses protecting his vision, he is struck unconscious
instantly upon looking at the pretty nurse.
Caught between two extremes: The dark and sophisticated Shadowdancer, and the
lovely, innocent Nurse Mizuno. It's no wonder the poor doctor's confused.
